Official Royal Dutch Mint set with the coins of the Netherlands Antilles The Netherlands Antilles were founded in 1954 as an autonomous country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and dissolved in 2010. Interestingly, however, the dissolution did not put an end to the minting of common coins. This official set of the Royal Dutch Mint was issued on the islands of Curaçao and Sint Maarten from 1998 to 2012. It includes a complete Guilder coin set and honours the work of the Helping Hands Foundation, a non-pofit organization on Sint Maarten that supports elderly and disabled people.
