DESCRIPTION
Front: Ina and the Shark. Ina fell in love with Tinirau, the god of the ocean. A shark carried her to him; however, on the way, Ina cracked open a coconut on the shark’s head, angering him. He was going to devour her, but Tekea, king of all sharks, rescued her. Back: Tangaroa, the great god of the sea, lakes, rivers, and creatures that live within them, and a man in a pukapuka fishing canoe.
