DESCRIPTION
Front: His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, the 29th of his line, which dates back to the fourteenth century. Purple-leafed forest yam at left. Back: Rainforest canopy. This is the primary layer of the rainforest, which can rise to 45 m. Photosynthesis occurs everywhere. Flowers and fruits abound and many animals that live here often never touch the ground during their lifetime.
