DESCRIPTION
Front: Ho Chi Minh at right. Vietnamese coat of arms at left. Back: The Khur Van pavilion of Van Mieu (a Temple of Confucius) – Quoc Tu Giam (the Imperial Academy), located in Hanoi, in the center. From 1076 to 1779, Quoc Tu Giam served as Vietnam’s (first) university, educating Vietnam’s bureaucrats, nobles, royalty and other members of the elite.
