Some of such relics of the past are featured in this complete set of the Libyan Dinar. It is the first coin set after the fall of Muammar al-Gaddafi in 2011. The obverses depict a well used to irrigate fields, the fortified village of Ksar Kabaw, a palm tree and a mausoleum in the ancient Roman city of Gerisa. In addition, each obverse has a latent image of the crescent moon and the star of Islam – the main motif of Libya’s national coat of arms.
