The impressive buildings of Jersey Due to its location between Great Britain and France, the largest of the Channel Islands has a very eventful past. Numerous buildings, from Stone Age megalithic tombs, medieval fortifications and the famous Chapel of Saint Helier on Hermitage Rock, to the 19th century lighthouse La Corbière, bear witness to the historical changes.
