An hourglass in the clear window. Front: Mihai Eminescu (1850-1889), late Romantic poet and probably the best known Romanian poet. Lime tree blossoms, a quill and an inkpot in the center. Back: The University Library in Iaşi, where Eminescu was a director of the library. At left, a sample of Timpul (“The Time”) newspaper, where Eminescu was a journalist and an editor.
